About Me

I am a K99/R00 Pathway to Independence postdoctoral research associate at the McGovern Institute of Brain Research, with Nancy Kanwisher and Jim DiCarlo. I am broadly interested in understanding the neural basis of visual object recognition in the ventral visual cortex in humans and non-human primates.

I obtained my PhD from the Centre for Neuroscience, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore - India, where I was advised by S.P. Arun. Over the course of my research at IISc, I investigated the dynamics of invariant object representations and the computations by which information about object identity and image attributes combine in the macaque inferior temporal cortex.
